NBA Wrap: Masked Kobe leads Lakers to victory

The Knicks got a big contribution from their bench as they outscored the Cavs 71-42 in the second half. Breaking even The Celtics are counting on the second half of the season being their time to shine and so far they have done just that. Rajon Rondo rattled off a triple-double and Kevin Garnett scored 25 points to go along with 11 rebounds as the C’s notched a 102-96 win over Milwaukee to move back to .500 (see story). Rondo sparked the win with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to push the Celtics’ record to 17-17. Down goes Dirk, Mavs Dirk Nowitzki went down early with an injury and Memphis used that to get back to its winning ways. Nowitzki left Wednesday’s game early with a balky back and the Grizzles earned a 96-85 victory for their fifth straight home win (see story). Marc Gasol posted a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Mike Conley added 20 points and 10 assists.
